🍚 Pioca is Piatella’s brother! A new type of extract!.

Blue River have created a highly aromatic extract that rivals the hyped Piatella in quality, but at the same time it’s a solvent-based BHO product.

Solvent-based is a category of extracts made with the help of solvents. This group includes: BHO, PHO, RSO, isolate, super critical (CO2).

🍫Piatella is known for its ability to “sweat” terpenes. When the terpenes concentrate as a liquid fraction on the surface of the extract, Piatella starts giving off an extraordinary aroma and flavor. Nothing like that had ever existed before, and now here we go again!

🍨Pioca is an extract that’s just as unique in aroma and flavor.
However, it’s produced with solvents.
Piatella is extracted with ice water – but water doesn’t dissolve the resins, it just carries them. Like a river carrying logs downstream.

Pioca, on the other hand, is an extract made with solvents such as butane, propane, CO2, etc. In this case butane or another solvent dissolves the resins in itself, and after the butane evaporates, we get the extract.

When producing Piatella, the extract is cured in a ⛄️fridge and without oxygen! This allows the terpenes to concentrate and partially transform into other aromatic compounds.
Here, natural terpene fraction release is at work.

Both Piatella and Pioca are made from 🌹fresh frozen (not dried) plants!

Pioca also releases a terpene fraction, but in this case it’s not a natural release via curing. To free the terpenes, Blue River used mechanical terpene release.

Blue River don’t disclose 🤐their terpene separation secret, but it can be assumed they do it with a centrifuge that splits off the more liquid fractions from the more solid ones.

Blue River also claim that unlike Piatella, Pioca is freed from unwanted waxes and lipids using that same centrifuge.

What does Pioca look like?

Most often Pioca looks like liquid, transparent honey – this is terp sauce, which is usually very runny compared to other extracts.
And in it you see either transparent crystals floating, or almost white little balls.

🍡The name Pioca was given exactly because of the appearance of the extract, which reminded them of a food product – 🍧tapioca (in the photo).

Just like Piatella, this extract is considered a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5‑star product.
Only 3–4 products make it into this tier.

🍒🫐🍑 Its incredible aroma and flavor are very hard to describe, because such aromas probably don’t even exist in nature. You just can’t find the words for what you’re feeling.
So I won’t even try)
The only thing I’ll say is that this aroma surprises even skeptics with stone-cold poker faces. And I’ll keep quiet about the flavor altogether.

The levels of other components are also extremely high, so there’s no real point in going into that either.
