This is probably the most 🍋lemony strain on the planet, but there’s a caveat: if you’re expecting a soft lemon flavor, you’re not going to get it.

The aroma and taste are bold and intense. It’s more like slightly bitter lemon zest, or even 🍋‍🟩lime peel. Sometimes you do get lemonade-type, softer flavors with a hint of artificial lemon candy.

What’s interesting is how serious the selection was for that very first lemon phenotype if you compare it to the most talked‑about strain of 2026 – Toad Venom.
Toad Venom was found in a pack of just 30 seeds, whereas Lemon Tree was hunted for years and selected from thousands of plants.

Strictly speaking, Lemon Tree and Toad Venom are not “strains” in the classical sense. Not only are they hybrids, they’re also 🎋only clone pheno – meaning they only exist as clones, with no true seed line behind them.

Why cross it with Face Off?

Archive Seedbank breeder Fletcher “Tha Docta” crossed the S1 version of the strain (pheno #4) with Face Off to increase flower density and resin production.
Face Off is a great donor for a very resinous flower structure, and it also often adds its own ⛽️“diesel‑gasoline” note to the terp profile. That extends the aromatic and flavor impact and makes it more pronounced.

💎💎💎Resin Everywhere!

If you look at the resin under a microscope or heavy zoom, you can immediately see that the trichome heads and stalks are much longer than on most other strains. At the same time they’re not super sticky and feel a bit harder.
The plant gets frosted up with resin even on the leaf petioles, giving the buds a ⛄️snow‑dusted look, as if they’re covered in icy frost.

Even though Lemons gives a clear, active high and a mood lift, it’s still a powerful strain that leaves the impression of a real heavy‑hitter (not about yield, about effect).

It loves training, and training directly boosts its productivity. So any training you give it is always “money in the bank.”
